Louis Comer is a Texas born artist and sculptor whose studies
have carried him across the United States, Mexico, Canada
and Europe, including France and Belguim for two years -
1958 and 1959.
His first studio was in Jacksboro, Texas. Later he had studios
in Taos, New Mexico, Dallas, Texas and Carmel, California,
a widely known Art Colony of Carmel, California. He was
nominated to be in the Art’s and Artists 1965 “Who’s
Who" of Montery Peninsula Artist. The Petersen Galleries
of Beverly Hills California displayed his work’s.
He placed in the Cooperstown, NewYork art show in 1965 along
with Henry Gosser and Norman Rockwell.
