In Texas he was represented by the "Country Store Gallery"
- Director Mr. Raymond Brown. The Western Art Gallery -
Director Mr. Bill Benford, Dallas, Texas. Louis has sold
to collectors such as Mr. Jim Skipworth and Senator Don
Kennard of Texas. He was director of the “Art Gallery"
sponsored by the Ft. Worth Chamber of Commerce. Louis has
had art showings with noted artists such as Fred Harmon,
a noted western artist and the creator of Red Ryder and
Little Beaver of world wide fame.
Mr.
Comer sums it up like this," I am a man who portrays
the west the way it was and the way it is today. I could
compile a very impressive list of private collectors of
my works in my 50 years of painting and reproductions, but,
I prefer you to be the judge". "If I have succeeded
in all my years of endeavors to capture what you are looking
for, then there is no more to be said."
